Sharks

Sharks are a grop of fish characterized by a cartilaginous skeleton, five to seven gill slits on the sides of the head, and pectoral fins that are not fused to the head.

Sharks have variety of body size. The smallest shark is the Lantern Shark, measuring only 7,5 inches. And the biggest one is the Whale Shark, measuring up to 14 meter.

Sharks' skeleton is made up of cartilage rather than bone. Sharks need to keep swimming in order not to get drowned so it need cartilage instead of bone. Also shark need cartilage in order to move more flexible and quicker in order to catch fishes.Sharks also have no swim bladder and no ribs.

Sharks usually have 8 rigid fins. Each of them offers stability and to move forward. Sharks tail offer forward motions, speed, and acceleration.

All kinds of sharks live in the sea except for bull and river shark. They are found in the depth of 2000 meters which  is suitable for them and they could find their food here. Sharks eat other animals such as seals, fishes, turtles, and even squid.
